<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />MINUTES OF THE AUGUST 21 1961 MEETING <br /> <br />Acting Chairman Chestnut called the meeting to order at 7&50 p.m. Commissioners Bell~ <br />Chestnut>> Grauel, Simerman and Boike were present. Membrez and Swanson were absent. <br />Pla~er Dahlgren was also present. <br /> <br />8-2-64 Kramer Addition - South of County Road D near Highway Noo 8 <br /> <br />Donald R. Kramer sent a letter to the Planning Commission requesting with- <br />drawal of the preliminary plat of Kramer Addition. <br /> <br />S:i1nerman Moved, Soike Seconded that we accept the r~quest made by <br />lxmald R. Kramer to withdraw the preliminary plat of Kramer Addition. <br />Carried una.nlln.ously. <br /> <br />8-2-63 M. Day Addition - South of Count;y Road D near Highway No.8 <br /> <br />Maitland Day proposes to plat an oversized lot (85V x 2008) fronting on <br />Highway!Jo. 8. Howard Dahlgren requested Mr. Day to have-a plat designed, <br />committing the land pattern to indicate street,s)) lots" and blocks. <br />Mr.. Day will have E. C. Bather & Associates prepare such a plan. <br /> <br />Soike Moved, Simennan Seconded that the preliminary pJa t of Mo Day Addition <br />be continued at the meeting scheduled for September 6, 1961. Carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />8-2-.56 Rosedale Addition No.3 - Roselawn and Cleveland Avenues <br /> <br />Messrs. N. S. Tolstad am C. A. Anderson telephoned the secretary requesting <br />additional time to agree on a street pattern for the developmento <br /> <br />Simerman Moved, Soike Seconded that the preliminary plat of Rosedale Addition <br />No. 3 be continued at the meeting scheduled. for September 6, 19610 Carried <br />unanimously 0 <br /> <br /> <br />R-3 to B..,l) East of Lenn ton Avenue North of Roselawn <br /> <br />8-2-41 <br /> <br />Frank J. Whaley j) owner, and Henry W. Mundhenk of the Prudential Insurance <br />Company appeared in support of the petitiono No one appeared in opposition <br />to the rezoning 0 .' <br /> <br />Mro Whaley presented two development plana for consideration by the <br />commission. Plan designated No.1 was recommended for approvalj) although <br />it will constitute a variance in the ordinance inasmuch as it allows parking <br />of automobiles to the Easterly property line without a rear yard set backo <br /> <br />Bell MoV'ed,9 Simerman Seconded that we approve rezoning the Whaley property <br />trom R...3 to B-1 along with the variances allowing parking up to the Easterly <br />property line as noted in Plan designated No.1. Carried unanimously. <br />
