<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING cm,mISSION <br />MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL 1'fEETING <br />OCTOBER 4, 1961 <br /> <br />The meeting was called by Acting Chairman Soike. Commissioners Grauel, Membrez, <br />and Swanson were absent. <br /> <br />10-4-79 <br /> <br />The Greenfield Land Company - The following letter of recommendation <br />was written to the Village Council as a result of this meeting. <br /> <br />October 6, 1961 <br /> <br />Honorable Mayor and Village Council <br />Village of Roseville <br /> <br />FILE NO. 79 <br /> <br />Attached is an overlay plan for the property at County Road Band <br />Lexington Avenue on which the Greenfield Land Company proposes to construct a <br />service station. The plan is being submitted to you for your consideration, toge- <br />ther with the following recommendations: <br /> <br />1) The Commission recommends that the building be constructed at the <br />location dra~1 on the plan; <br /> <br />2) The Commission recommends that the driveways nearest Lexington <br />Avenue ffild County Road B be constructed 20 feet from the intersection; <br /> <br />3) The Commission recommends that the pump island nearest Lexington <br />Avenue be set back 20 feet from the property line; <br /> <br />4) The Commission recorunends that we allow a 21.4 foot setback for the <br />sign along the east property line, and that we require that the sign <br />along the south property line be set back 30 feet. <br /> <br />5) The Commission recommends that we allow 3 feet of set back from the <br />curb to the sidewalk instead of the 5 feet required by the ordinance. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission further recommends that the developer be required to <br />construct sidewalks and curbing as shown on the plan in order to give proper pro- <br />tection to pedestrian traffic. <br /> <br />Yours very truly, <br /> <br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />Albert W.
