<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Planning Commission Hinutes <br />Special Meeting - January 22, 1964 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 8:00 p.m. <br />Members present: Nelson, Sigford, Lund, Soike, Motl, Consultant Dahlgren and <br />Engineer Hanson. <br /> <br />File No. 171 - Zimmerman Realty - Mr. Bob Blumberg and Mr. Lyman Foss appeared <br />representing Zimmerman Realty in support of request to vacate Rose Mall. No <br />one appeared in opposition. Sigford Moved, Soike Seconded, that the Planninp: <br />Commission recommend to the Village Council the approval of the vacation of <br />Rose Mall from Pascal Avenue to Albert Street and vacating easterly, Pascal <br />Avenue from Commerce Street to Trunk Highway No. 36, as requested, subject to <br />drainage easements as required. Carried unanimously. <br /> <br />File No. 155 - ~1ichael Tschida, Bernard Tschida, Clifford Lund, et al. <br />Neither the petitioner or others appeared relative to petition as requested, <br />After review of the problem in relationship to the existing and potential <br />development plans, Soike Moved and Lund Seconded that the Planning Commission <br />reaffirm its position regarding this to the council to approve the vacation <br />of approximately the easterly 33 feet of Albermarle Street from Elmer Street, <br />as requested; and the approval of the vacation of a 20 foot alley in Block 1, <br />Schwartz's subdivision. Carried unanimously. <br /> <br />File No. 135 - Naiditch & Sons - Request of Naiditch & Sons for special use <br />permit to construct multiple dwellings in B.1 district. No one appeared for or <br />against the petition. Following review by the Planning Commission it was <br />unanimously decided to take no action for or against the petition but let stand <br />the action taken by the Planning Commission involving the previous decision <br />last year, MotI Moved, Sigford Seconded, that the Planning Commission take no <br />action for or against the petition but that it let stand the action taken by the <br />Planning Commission last year with the nlrther recommendation to the Village <br />Council that action be considered on the basis of all viewpoints presented at <br />the February 3rd council hearing.
