Ray Spannous represent- <br />ing the petitioner submitted a plan for a Dairy Queen Drive-in building to be <br />constructed at this site. The property is presently zoned B-3. After some <br />discussions Anderson moved, Lund seconded, we recommend that the special use <br />permit request be granted, subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. Submit a landscaping plan <br />2. Post a performance bond for the screening requirements <br />3. Decrease curb cut on McCarrons Boulevard to 22 feet instead of <br />60 feet as shown on the plan <br />4. Proposed sign decision to be held up to the next regular meeting, <br />plans for the sign to be submitted at that time. <br /> <br />Carried unanimouslyo <br /> <br />File 64-205 - Rezoning and special use permit by Hart Motor Freight. <br />being no one present to speak on this request, Nelson moved, Sigford <br />to lay the matter over until our next regular meeting, July lD 1964. <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />There <br />seconded>> <br />Carried <br /> <br />File 64-77 - Revisions to Indistrial Zoning <br /> <br />The Midwest Planning & Research, Inc. submitted a report to improve the use <br />of some choice land in the Village. This report was handed out in May to the <br />members of the Planning Commission with the suggestion that each member study <br />this report and be prepared to make recommendations at this meeting. Basically <br />the recommendations were to create a new 1-1A zoning classification with permitted <br />uses~ accessory uses, conditional uses and other requirements as outlined in <br />DahlgrenOs report. The memo dated May 20, 1964, of the Midwest Planning was quite <br />complete and satisfactory except the conditional uses of <br /> <br />l. Service Stations <br />2. Restaurants (not including drive-ins) <br />3. Retail Sales <br /> <br />It was suggested that the report be accepted leaving out the conditional uses: <br />Nelson moved, Sigford seconded, that we recommend an amendment to the zoning <br />ordinance by adding a new 1-lA classification but leaving out the conditional <br />uses~ and that the Village Attorney and the Village Planner join together to pre- <br />pare the amendment for the approval of the Council.
