<br />Roseville Planning ConmL J.on <br />Special ~eeting ~ Thursday, February 18, 1965 <br />7:00 PoMo <br /> <br />M3mbers present~ Nelson, Soike, and ~mbrezo Also present Trustee Grauel and <br />Planning Consultant Dahlgreno Of those property owners invited only Ted Schultz, <br />Tom ~villmus, Art Gluek and his real estate agent Parranto were thereo <br /> <br />Chairman Nelson explained the purpose of this special meeting and requested Dahlgren <br />to outline in a general way why the Planning Commission wants to establish a new <br />classification I-1A to become a part of the zoning ordinance for certain types of <br />properties 0 The area between Fairview and Cleveland north of Highway 36 was dis~ <br />cussed at great length, there was a difference of opinion on the part of the property <br />owners, the suggestions made by them are as follows: <br /> <br />Tom Willmus = He desires to eatablish a strip along Cleveland Avenue approximately <br />500 feet deep in 1=1 zoning as is now but he wants the automobile, truck and <br />trailer body repair put back in the permitted use in 1=1 as it was previously 0 <br />On that basis he would be in favor to change to I-lA the balance of his property <br />in the rear of the proposed strip along Cleveland Avenueo <br /> <br />Ted Schultz = Desires no changeo Wants to keep his property in 1=1 zoning as is <br />now 0 He understands the automobile, truck and trailer body repair was eliminated <br />entirely in tl1e I-I zone 0 He said he didn't care to have trucks, etco so its OK <br />with himo Upon questioning him about dedicating land for proposed Prior Avenue, <br />he stated that he was willing to do 500 <br /> <br />Art Gluek <br />Agent, Parranto = They indicated they would be in favor to change the zoning to <br />I~lA of their property between Fairview and Cleveland, north of Highway 360 <br />However, on the following conditions: <br /> <br />10 To list under conditional uses the following items originally proposed, <br />namely~ <br /> <br />ao Service Stations in accordance with other special conditions <br />outlined in this ordinance <br /> <br />bo Restaurants (not including drive-ins) <br />co Retail sales conducted entirely within a structure <br /> <br />20 The strip between Fairview and Cleveland along Highway 36 which is <br />now zoned B=l to be changed to I-IA zoning 0 <br /> <br />Chairman Nelson stated all these suggestions will be considered and that quite soon <br />we will call another meetingo' He thanked the property owners for taking time to <br />attend this meetingo <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:30 PoMo <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />George Ao t-embrez <br />Secretary <br />
