<br />Special Meeting = Roseville Planning Commission <br />MondaYD August l6D 1965 = 5~30 PoMo <br /> <br />Members present~ James NelsonD LinebargerD AndersonD Lo Ao Nelson, <br />Remsburg and Membrezo Also present: Grauel, Bob Hall <br />replacing Dahlgren and Odlando <br /> <br />File 65=210 = Ro Herbst request for rezoning from 1=1 to B=3 and special use <br />permit for a motel = property at 2080 and 2090 Wo County Road Co <br /> <br />Mro Herbst and his architect presented new plans for the construction <br />of a 58 unit truck motelD a barp coffee shop and a managerOs apartment 0 The required <br />parking of 83 spaces will be provided because the applicant intends to lease additional <br />land from the Northern Pacific Railway Company 0 Every member of the Commission <br />indicated concern about the trafficD egress and ingress, the fact that County Road C <br />was a divided highway with a concrete center divider, traffic using that access will <br />be one way onlyv eastboundp and the Cleveland access being quite close to the rail- <br />road tracksD by all means not the most desirableo Herbst promised many things in <br />connection with the handling of the traffic, leaving some doubts in the mind of the <br />members of the Planning Commissiono <br /> <br />It was finally moved by Linebargerp seconded, by Anderson, to <br />recommend the rezoning from 1=1 to B=3 and the granting of a Special Use Permito <br />Howeverp subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />10 To obtain from the State or County an access from Cleveland <br />Avenue 0 <br /> <br />20 To secure from the Northern Pacific Railway a lease for not <br />less than 25 years for the land owned by the railway company 0 <br /> <br />30 To have proper access from County Road Co <br /> <br />Roll CallD Ayes (5) = Nays (1) = James Nelson voting nayo <br /> <br />Respectfully submittedv <br /> <br />George Ao MembrezD Secretary <br />
