Special Meeting of Roseville Planning Commission
Monday, April 25, 1966 at 5:30 P.M.

Members present: Anderson, Remsburgp Carpenter. L. Nelson and Membrez.
Ernest Kluegel, Building Inspector, also present.

File 317~66 ~ Fruehauf Corporation request for a front yard setback for parking
of 20 feet instead of 40 feet.

Mr. Tom Carter of Fruehauf and Gene Parranto reerequested the 20 foot setback instead
of 40 feet for parking. Mr. Kluegel, Building Inspector, reported he.. had ".thol'oughly
checked the setback regu, lations under which Glendenning and Bruce Motor Freight
constructed their terminals. The records showed that permits were issued to them prior
to the adoption of the ordinances in 1959 and, therefore, the setbacks were then not
regulated. It was also pointed out that County Road C was widened 14 feet on the north
side, reducing the setback to about 20 feet. Under these conditions t. Nelson moved,
Anderson seconded, that we recommend the variance be granted as shown on plans submitted
on the condition, however, that brick be used instead of blocks on the front of the
building. Roll Call: unanimous.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.

Respectfully submitted

George A. Membrez, Secretary
