<br />On motion by Membrez and second by Carpenter the minutes of the regular meeting of
<br />March 1, 1967, were approved as submitted. Roll Call, unanimous 0
<br />
<br />Subject File 359~66, Klosterman Realty Company, special use permit and rezoning at
<br />2025 West County Road B.
<br />
<br />Mr. Oscar Jones and [vIr. George Nason of Nason, Law, Wehrman and Knight, Inco,
<br />2101 Hennepin Avenue, present the plan for the development of the subject propertyo
<br />Of the approximate ly 30 people present, the following spoke in opposition:

<br />These people covered the following subjects: changing the character of the residential
<br />area, devalue single family homes, traffic, hazard to children, widening of County Road
<br />B, traffic controls at B and Cleveland~ no park property requested in this general area,
<br />how would the Village benefit from this deve lopment, width of apartment buildings ~ set~
<br />back from County Road B, vacation of state land, traffic pattern on subject property, etco
<br />
<br />After two hours of discussion it was agreed that the plan presented was the best one so
<br />far. Therefore, the petitioner will re=apply for a new zoning based on the new plan that
<br />was presented.
<br />
<br />Subject File 361e66 e George Guligowski, sign variance as to front yard and side yard
<br />setback.
<br />
<br />It was pointed out that the petitioner has changed the name of his store to Tom Thumb
<br />and is considering changing his sign so that it would conform to the ordinanceo
<br />TI1erefore, it was moved by Nelson and seconded by Membrez that we recommend denial of
<br />the variance. Roll Call, unanimous.

<br />Subject File 375-56, Otto Esch Equipment Supply Company setback variance at 2365
<br />Highway 36.

<br />It was moved by Membrez and seconded by Carpenter that we recommend approval of a 30
<br />foot setback from the future south property line and a 20 foot setback from the west
<br />property line subject to the handling of the drainage and development of the site accord=
<br />ing to the p Ian presented. Roll Call, unanimous.

<br />Subject File 374-67 e Morton Blinderman variance in setback at 1769 Dellwood Avenueo
<br />
<br />Mr. Morton Blinderman proposes to construct a 5 foot by 9 foot entrance on the front of
<br />his house. Mr. Patrick J. Whalen, 1777 Dellwood Avenue,informed the commission that he
<br />had no objections. Therefore, it was moved by Anderson and seconded by Remsburg that we
<br />recommend approval of 25' front yard setback from Dellwoodo Roll Call, unanimous 0
