We
recommended that they check with the Village and see if they could apply for a special use
permit for two different pieces of propertyo

Subject File 403-67 - Robert Gerber variance in setback at 1281 Josephine Road

Mr. Gerber requested a variance of 25' so that he could build a new garage that would be
placed where his present garage is. He would put the doors on the east side of the
garage so that he wouldn't be backing out onto the street. He stated that with his heart
condition it would be better if he had a short driveway to maintain. It was pointed out by
Mr. Dahlgren that there didn't appear to be a hardship on this piece of property as the
distance to the house would be 125' if the variance were granted. It was then moved by
Membrez and seconded by Linebarger that we grant the request for variance.
