<br />Special Meeting Roseville Planning Commission <br />Saturday, April 13, 1968 - 9:00 A.M. <br /> <br />Members present: Membrez, Anderson, Demos, Edlund and Remsburg. <br />Also present: Grauel and Dahlgren <br />Members absent: Carpenter and Pope <br /> <br />TIle meeting was called to order at 9:00 A.M. and Mr. Dahlgren discussed the proposed <br />B-1 (B) zoning. This would establish a "Limited Retail" district. <br /> <br />The permitted uses in the B-lB Limited Retail Districts under 8.261 were accepted as <br />proposed. <br /> <br />In section 8.262 - Uses by Special Permit in Limited Retail Districts - it was <br />agreed that we eliminate the following: <br /> <br />1. Those uses by special permit in "B-1" districts. <br />2. Automobile sales (new only). <br />3. Service stations. <br /> <br />In the subdivisions of permitted uses in general business districts under Section <br />8.300 we changed (31) to read: <br /> <br />(31) Recording, broadcasting or television studies. <br /> <br />In section 8.225 - Special Minimum Requirements for "B-lB" Districts we added: <br /> <br />(2) inserted "lot" <br />(3) inserted "lot" <br />(6) Three per cent of the surface area of land wi thin a parking area shall be <br />landscapted with grass and/or decorative surface treatment, trees and shrubbery. <br />(7) Parking areas and drives shall be curbed Witll pre-cast or poured in place <br />curbing. Bumper blocks must be placed in line only. <br />(8) Site plans for all developments shall require special use permit prior to <br />issuance of building permit. <br /> <br />It was moved by Anderson and seconded by Edlund that we recommend to the Council that <br />they adopt the ordinance establishing the B-1 (B) zone with the following changes: <br /> <br />In section 8.262 - Uses by Special Permit in Limited Retail Districts - it was <br />agreed that we eliminate the following: <br /> <br />1.
