<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING CmtHSSION MEETING <br />Thursday, October 9, 1969 <br /> <br />A special meeting of the Roseville Planning Commission of October 9, 1969 was <br />called to order at 7:40 P.H. <br /> <br />Commission members present: Edlund, Pope, Eagles, Johnson, Carpenter, Demos, Membrez <br />Other present: Councilman Linebarger, Consultant Planner Dahlgren, Public Works Director <br />GOldberg, Inspection Superintendent Kluegel. Assistant Village Manager Sills. <br /> <br />Others absent: Councilman Grauel. <br /> <br />P}anning File 543-69 - Hess Kline (Swahn Liquidating Trust) request for rezoning from <br />1-1 to 1-2 and B-3 at 2200 West County Road C-2 <br /> <br />Planning File 544-69 - Royal Oldsmobile (Swahn Liquidating Trust) request for special <br />use permit at 2845 Long Lake Road <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />This special meeting was continued from the October I, 1969, Planning Commission meeting <br />so that further detai Is concerning the Hess-Kline rezoning and Royal Oldsmobile special <br />use permit could be examined. <br /> <br />Mr. Parranto presented three plans. The first, a landscape plan, secondly a site develop- <br />ment plan and third an architect's rendering of the Royal Oldsmobile building. Mr. <br />Parranto talked about the details on each one of the plans presented. There was discussion <br />among all parties concerned as to the various details in these three plans submitted. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Edlund Moved, Demos Seconded, that we recommend that the request by Hess Kline (Swahn <br />Liquidating Trust) for rezoning from I-I to 1-2 and B-3 at 2200 West County Road C-2 be <br />approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Edlund, Pope, Eagles, Johnson, Carpenter, Demos, Membrez. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Edlund Moved, Pope Seconded, that we recommend that the request by Royal Oldsmobile <br />(Swahn Liquidating Trust) for a special use permit at 2845 Long Lake Road be approved <br />subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. That the building and site be developed as per site plan marked "Exhibit I" and <br />dated October 1, 1969, except that the setback be 15 feet which is contiguous to <br />right-of-way on the east and west side. Also that the curb be poured in place for <br />the parking lot area. <br /> <br />2. That the landscape plan be approved as submitted as marked "Exhibit 2" and dated <br />October 9, 1969. <br /> <br />3. That the sign for advertising be approved with two pylon signs; one 15 x 15 feet <br />and one 11 x 11 feet with a minimum setback of 30 feet from right-of-way. <br /> <br />4. That the split block surface for the exterior of the building be approved as <br />shown on the architect's rendering plans with the pilaster eliminated. <br /> <br />5. That no penants be allowed. <br /> <br />6. A lighting plan be submitted and receive approval by the Village staff. <br />
