Membrez questioned the dedication of the 10 feet of right-of-way for Fairview Avenue. <br />Mr. Bell stated that the new plans as submitted show that the dedication has been taken <br />into account and that they are agreeable to this dedication. <br /> <br />No one from the audience spoke in opposition. <br /> <br />The public hearing was then declared closed. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />T <br /> <br />Johnson Moved, Edlund Seconded, that we recommend to the Village Council that the request <br />of Standard Oil Company for the division of a lot and special use permit at 2441 North <br />Fairview Avenue be approved, subject to the dedication of 10 feet of additional right-of- <br />way for Fairview Avenue, and that the plan be in conformance with the driveway locations <br />as approved by Ramsey County. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 571-70 - Ban-Con, Inc. request for variance at 2750 North Dale Street. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Ted Glasrud, President of Ban-Con, Inc., presented the proposed plan for the develop- <br />ment of Westwood Hills No.2 townhouse complex on the east side of Dale and north of the <br />Willmus apartment project. on County Road C. He stated that he had discussed his proposal <br />with Mr. Dahlgren and Mr. Dahlgren was in agreement with it. Also, at Mr. Dahlgren's <br />request, the entrance on Dale Street has been shifted approximately 150 feet north so that <br />it would not be in conflict with the lVillmus apartment's driveway. He stated that this <br />proposal is approximately the same type of layout and approved variances that are incor- <br />porated into the project on the east side of Mackubin Street. <br /> <br />He briefly discussed the proposed topography and building layout for this project.
