He stated that he would construct a cuI de sac at
the end of Mildred Drive to serve six of the lots. The remaining five lots would be
served by Fairview Avenue. He indicated that he would like to keep the lots larger and
have nice homes.

Discussion

Mr. Dahlgren presented an optional plan for the construction of the street system in the
area. He indicated that Arthur Street located to the west of Mildred Drive was also
proposed for a dul de sac. He stated there is a possibility that Arthur Street and
Mildred Drive could be connected, which would eliminate the two cuI de sacs and also
create four additional lots.

Mr. Hedlund indicated he would like an opportunity to look at the optional plan and
requested that his application be continued to the next Commission meeting.

Recommendation

Mr. Mastel moved and Mrs. Cushing seconded, that Harlan Hedlund's request for prelim-
inary plat "Hedlund Southview" at about 3051 Fairview Avenue be continued to the
Planning Commission meeting of June 2, 1976. Roll Call, Ayes: Kellett, Rukavina,
Mastel, Siroons, Cushing and V. Johnson. Nays: None.

Other Business

Mr. V. Johnson indicated that he had attended an Arden Hills Planning Commission meeting
recently, and that Northwestern College was proposing to construct an 1800 seat Fine
Arts Center on their campus. The building would be constructed on property in Arden Hills,
but because all access and egress is in Roseville, the traffic would all be required to
use Roseville streets. He stated there had been no notification given to Roseville of the
proposed application and felt that perhaps there should be involvement on the part of
Roseville since there would be an affect.
