Discussion Mro Dahlgren reviewed the history of the property for the Commissiono It was suggested by a Commission member that perhaps a time limitation should be placed on the special use permit similar to the 3 year limit that was placed on Mr. James Trapp's truck rental operation at County Road Co Mro Safe indicated that, although they are presently leasing the facility, they plan to exercise their option to buy the property in December, Mr, Mastel commented that he personally did not feel comfortable with a time limit for this special use permit, Recommendation Mro Kellett moved and Mro Rukavina Seconded, that the Commission recommend approval of Safe Enterprises, Inco request for special use permit at 1975 Oakcrest 0 Roll Call, Ayes: Simons, Cushing, Go Johnson, Kellett, Rukavina, Mastel and Vo Johnsono Nays: None, Other Business MTo Ken Simons indicated he would like the Commission to be aware of the fact that the Land and Recreation Committee of the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners has recommended the deletion of the Victoria-Lake Owasso Open Space site from the Ramsey County Park Acquisition program, He stated that perhaps the Commission would like to take a position regarding this recommendation 0 Mr, North indicated that the Committee recommendation was scheduled to be considered by the Ramsey County Board at its September 7, meeting, but that the City had requested the action be continued until the Board meeting of Septerrber 20, to provide an opportunity for the City Council to review the recommendationo The Council does not meet until September 13.
