Johnson <br />Sirrons and Cushing <br />Council liaison Al Kehr, HCMard Dahlgren, Charles Honchell <br />and Steve North <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Mr. Rukavina roved and Mrs. Dressler seconded, that the minutes of the regular <br />neeting of August 1, 1979, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Dressler, Mastel and <br />Rukavina. Nays: None. Abstention: G. Johnson and V. Johnson. <br /> <br />Plarming File. 1211 - York DevelopieI1t request for special use permit and <br />division of lot at 1905 West PeriIreter Road <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren indicated that York Development proposes to construct a 10 ,450 square <br />foot retail building. 'Ihe property has 170 feet of frontage on West Peri.Ireter <br />and a depth of 242 feet. He stated that the structure is an all brick building. <br />Mr. Tim Franzen, representing York Development, indicated he had no additional <br />CXJrrrcents . <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Mr. Rukavina inquired if any tenant for the. building had been obtained. <br /> <br />Mr. Franzen responded that no leases had been signed, but that they were consider- <br />ing a fumi ture store and other similar tytpes of retail activity. <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren indicated that a sidewalk would need to be constructed as required by <br />the City Code. <br /> <br />Recormendation <br /> <br />~1r . Rukavina lIDved and Mr. Mastel seconded, that the Corrmission recorrrnend approval <br />of York Developrrent's request for special use permit and division of lot at 1905 <br />~st Perimeter Road. Roll Call, Ayes: Dressler, G. Johnson, Mastel, Rukavina and <br />V. Johnson. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 1212 - Sheehy Construction request for division of lot at 2655 <br />Snelling Avenue Frontage Road <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren indicated that the applicant proposes to develop two office buildings <br />on a portion of the fo:rmer Rose Drive-in 'Iheatre site. Both of the buildings will <br />be constructed of the sane brick material. Hr. Dahlgren indicated that the enginePI- <br />ing depart:rrent has two concerns about the proposed developrrent. <br />
