<br />-2- <br /> <br />Mr. Mastel asked if there was some sort of middle ground that could be considered. <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren commented that he saw the possibility of working with the school district <br />to obtain park land and, therefore, maybe the ordinance would not be necessary. <br /> <br />Mr. Rukavina indicated that he had a problem with the ordinance because of the effect it <br />would have on the individual who wants to divide his lot and create just one new lot. He <br />indicated that it was his opinion we should work it out without adopting an ordinance. <br /> <br />Mr. Mastel indicated that he agreed with that. <br /> <br />Mr. G. Johnson said that he looked favorably on the ordinance. He commented that we have <br />to find ways to develop our park land. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Mr. Rukavina moved and Mr. Mastel seconded, that the proposed ordinance providing for park <br />dedication at time of subdivision of property be continued until the August 6, 1980, <br />Planning Commission meeting. Roll Call, Ayes: Dressler, Mastel, Cushing, Rukavina, Simons <br />and G. Johnson. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Review of Proposed Ordinances Relating to Comprehensive Plan <br /> <br />Mr. Bob Ryan reviewed the proposed ordinance amendments as outlined in his memo of <br />July 2, and the proposed changes in the planned unit development procedures as outlined <br />in his memo of June 4. <br /> <br />After discussion of these ordinance amendments, Mr. Dahlgren encouraged the Commission <br />members to let the staff know of any other proposed ordinance changes that they feel would <br />be appropriate to consider. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Mr. Rukavina moved and Mr. Simons seconded, that the review of the proposed ordinance <br />amendments be continued until the August 6,1980, Planning Commission meeting.
