Johnson seconded, that the Commission recommend
approval of the proposed ordinance providing for park dedication at the time of
subdivision of property with the following conditions:

1. That the two changes, as recommended by Mr. Dahlgren, be included in
the ordinance.

2. That Section 1 of treproposed ordinance be amended to read:

As a condition to approval of any subdivision, the owner
shall dedicate 10 percent of the gross area of land being
subdivided for residential purposes, and 5 percent of the
land being subdivided for other purposes, for public park,
playground, open space trail system or other public recreational
purposes.

Roll Call, Ayes: Dressler, G. Johnson suggested some wording changes in Section 13.060 (3) and in
Section 14.170.

Mr. Rukavina indicated that rather than increase the maximum size of a mobile
sign from 25 to 32 square feet, he felt that mobile signs should be prohibited.
After discussion, it was the consensus that the proposed ordinance should be
changed to prohibit mobile signs. The Co~mission requested that a section
permitting temporary search lights for a period of five days be preapred for
consideration at the next meeting.

The Commission also suggested that a proposed ordinance be prepared providing
that firms, utilizing a van pooling program for their employees, would be
permitted to leave a percentage of the required parking area in green space.

Recommendation

Mr. Rukavina moved and Mr. G.
