ROSEVILLE PLANNING CO~~1ISSION MINUTES WEDNESDAY, APRIL 6, 1983 The April 6, 1983 regular meeting of the Roseville Planning Commission was called to order by Chairman George Johnson at 7:30 p.m. Members Present: Rukavina, Matson, Moeller, Cushing, Dressler, Mastel, and Johnson. Members Absent: None. Staff Present: Council liaison Al Kehr, Howard Dahlgren, and Steve North. Approval of Minutes Rukavina Moved and Matson Seconded that the minutes of the regular meeting of March 2,1983, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Rukavina, Matson, Moeller, Dressler, and Johnson. Nays: None. Abstain: Cushing and Mastel, because they were absent from the meeting. Planning File 1420 - Mueller-Bies request for special use permit and variances to setback at 2130 Dale. Presentation Mr. North indicated Mueller-Bies has requested wi thdrawal of their application for variances to setback at 2130 Dale. Because their request for special use permit has already been recommended for approval by the Planning Commission, no further action is necessary. Planning File 1422 - Proposed amendment to the Roseville Tax Increment Financing PI an. Presentation Mr. Dahlgren indicated the Commission in October of 1982, recommended amending the Comprehensive Plan, changing the proposed land use from low density residential to business for that area located north of Rosedale Shopping Center. The Commission also determined that the Roseville Tax Increment Financing Plan, dated July, 1982, was consistent with the City of Roseville Cor~rehensive Plan. Mr. Dahlgren presented the Commission with proposed Amendment Number One to the Tax Increment Financing Plan. He indicated the Amendment made no changes in the Land Use Plan, but was only a change in the method of financing for the property located north of Rosedale. The Amendment would permi t the City to purchase property, and resell a portion of it to a developer.
