<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING CO~~1ISSION MINUTES <br /> <br />WEDNESDAY, APRIL 6, 1983 <br /> <br />The April 6, 1983 regular meeting of the Roseville Planning Commission was <br />called to order by Chairman George Johnson at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Members Present: Rukavina, Matson, Moeller, Cushing, Dressler, Mastel, and <br />Johnson. <br /> <br />Members Absent: None. <br /> <br />Staff Present: Council liaison Al Kehr, Howard Dahlgren, and Steve North. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Rukavina Moved and Matson Seconded that the minutes of the regular meeting of <br />March 2,1983, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Rukavina, Matson, Moeller, <br />Dressler, and Johnson. Nays: None. Abstain: Cushing and Mastel, because <br />they were absent from the meeting. <br /> <br />Planning File 1420 - Mueller-Bies request for special use permit and variances <br />to setback at 2130 Dale. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. North indicated Mueller-Bies has requested wi thdrawal of their application <br />for variances to setback at 2130 Dale. Because their request for special use <br />permit has already been recommended for approval by the Planning Commission, <br />no further action is necessary. <br /> <br />Planning File 1422 - Proposed amendment to the Roseville Tax Increment Financing <br />PI an. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren indicated the Commission in October of 1982, recommended amending <br />the Comprehensive Plan, changing the proposed land use from low density residential <br />to business for that area located north of Rosedale Shopping Center. The Commission <br />also determined that the Roseville Tax Increment Financing Plan, dated July, 1982, <br />was consistent with the City of Roseville Cor~rehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren presented the Commission with proposed Amendment Number One to the <br />Tax Increment Financing Plan. He indicated the Amendment made no changes in the <br />Land Use Plan, but was only a change in the method of financing for the property <br />located north of Rosedale. The Amendment would permi t the City to purchase <br />property, and resell a portion of it to a developer. <br />
