<br />Wednesday, July 6, 1983 <br />Planning Commission Minutes <br />-3- <br /> <br />Rukavina expressed concern that the new street be named in accordance with a <br />similarly situated street to enable emergency personnel to locate the street. <br />He suggested the street be named Walnut. <br /> <br />Dressler indicated the City of Roseville has historically required at least a <br />20-foot parking setback, which has preserved aesthetically important green space. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Moeller moved and Dressler seconded that the Planning Commission recommend <br />approval of Mar-Len Investment, Inc. request for preliminary plat and variance <br />to parking setback with the following conditions: <br /> <br />1) That the parking setback on the east side of the proposed building be 20 <br />feet, rather than the requested 10 feet. <br /> <br />2) That the acquisition of the Marabella property (to be used for the cul-de-sac) <br />be completed. <br /> <br />3) That a common easement be recorded, providing lots 1, 3, 4, and 5 with <br />access to the existing street on the western portion of the property. <br /> <br />4) That the project be developed in accordance with plans dated 6/8/83. <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Dressler, Matson, Moeller, Wiski, and Rukavina. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br />Dressler moved and Johnson seconded that the meeting be adjourned at 9:45 p.m. <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Dressler, Matson, Moeller, Wiski, and Rukavina. <br />Nays: None. <br />
