<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br />Wednesday, August 5, 1987 <br /> <br />The August 5, 1987, regular meeting of the Roseville Planning <br />Commission was called to order by Chairperson Pat Johnson at 7:30 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />Members Present: Johnson, Maschka, Berry, Stokes, and DeBenedet. <br /> <br />Members Absent: (Excused) Goedeke and Moeller. <br /> <br />Staff Present: Waldron, Dahlgren, and Janisch. <br /> <br />Council Present: Cushman (liaison) and Kehr. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes / <br />Maschka moved, Berry seconded, that the minutes bf the regular <br />meeting of the Roseville Planning Commission held Wednesday, July <br />1, 1987, be approved with the addition of the result of the vote <br />that should be depicted on Page 8, under Item 1. <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: <br />Nays: <br /> <br />Johnson, Maschka, Berry, Stokes, and DeBenedet. <br />None. <br /> <br />Planning File 1784 <br />Fine Associates request for site plan review and division of lot <br />at 2665 and 2710 Snelling Avenue Frontage Road. <br /> <br />Presentation <br />Dahlgren discussed the site which included a <br />and a rezoning which were previously approved. <br />now requesting a site plan review and division <br /> <br />P.D.D., variance, <br />The applicant is <br />of lot. <br /> <br />Slumberland was discsused in more detail, as was the desirability <br />of a pathway from C moving north toward the restaurants. <br /> <br />Tom Gerster, the architect for the project, discussed the <br />following items: Landscape, exterior elevation, color of bricks, <br />signage, and the roof top units which would be screened by the <br />parapet. <br /> <br />Stokes asked what would be developed to the north. Bob Kueppers <br />from Fine Associates stated that the parcel belongs to the State. <br /> <br />Berry asked about the outside lighting. Gerster replied it would <br />be downcast lighting. <br /> <br />Maschka asked whether the pathway would be considered. Kueppers <br />replied that the developer would work to accomplish such a <br />request. <br /> <br />Stokes also asked whether the trash would be enclosed. Gerster <br />replied it would be between the retaining wall and the building. <br />
