<br />(' <) <br />" / <br /> <br />\...l <br /> <br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COr1HI SSION <br /> <br />Wednesday, January 6, 1988 <br /> <br />January 6, 1988 regular meeting of the Roseville Planning <br />Commission was called to order by Acting Chairperson Ann Berry at <br />7:31 P.H. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Berry, Stokes, DeBenedet, Goedeke, Moeller <br />and Maschka <br /> <br />rlembers Absent: <br /> <br />Johnson <br /> <br />Staff Present: <br /> <br />Waldron, Dahlgren, Janisch, and Jopke <br /> <br />Council Present: <br /> <br />Cushman (liaison), Kehr, and Mayor elect Rog <br /> <br />Community Development Directory I'laldron introduced the new Ci ty <br />Planning and Zoning Administrator, Rick Jopke. <br /> <br />Acting Chairperson Berry \velcomed citizens to the meeting and <br />explained the role of the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />DeBenedet moved, Goedeke seconded, that the minutes of the <br />regular meeting of the Roseville Planning Commission held <br />Wednesday, December 02, 1987 be approved. <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Moeller, DeBenedet, Berry, Goedeke, Stokes <br />Abstain: Maschka <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />Planning File 1813 <br /> <br />John S. Seltz request for a division of lot at 210 and 220 <br />Hoodlynn Avenue. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Dahlgren explained that the 7.3 acre site was located adjacent to <br />Ladyslipper Park at the end of 1t1oodlynn Avenue. The site has <br />been designated as future park land and was originally intended <br />to be purchased by the city. At the last Plann ing Comrni s s ion <br />meeting the commission recommended that the city purchase the <br />site for park land. The City Council subsequently referred the <br />matter back to the Planning Commission for a recommendation on <br />the proposed lot split and single family residential use as the <br />council reiterated its position not to purchase the land for the <br />park. <br />
