Dahlgren stated that it would be helpful to have an <br />audience present to react to the guidelines. Johnson pointed out <br />that the guidelines would have a positive impact on the area and <br />the community. <br /> <br />Maschka moved and Goedeke seconded to table discussion of this <br />item to the July 6, 1988 Planning Commission meeting. <br /> <br />Berry stated that it would be appropriate to notify people via <br />the newspaper, of this matter. <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Goedeke, Maschka, Moeller, DeBenedet, <br />Johnson, Berry <br /> <br />Nays: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />other Business <br /> <br />DeBenedet indicated that it would be helpful for commissioners to <br />have a one week notice or reminder of meetings. Goedeke informed <br />the commission that he had recently gotten a call from the <br />newspaper which made him uncomfortable and wondered if it would <br />be appropriate to forward such calls to Howard Dahlgren. Johnson <br />commented that she felt that providing information was <br />appropriate but not opinions. <br /> <br />Berry indicated that she had also received calls and that she had <br />told the person to call the planning commission chairperson or <br />city hall. <br /> <br />Johnson indicated that there was high interest in the area and <br />lots of press coverage which is good for the city. She stated <br />that she was glad to take phone calls. Dahlgren pointed out that <br />the city has been getting good press lately thanks to the efforts <br />of Craig Waldron. <br /> <br />Johnson thanked staff for their efforts. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br />There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 10: 20 <br />pm. <br />
