<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />Wednesday, August 2, 1989 <br /> <br />The August 2 , <br />Commission was <br />7:32 P.M. <br /> <br />1989 regular meeting of the Roseville Planning <br />called to order by Chairperson Pat Johnson at <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Wietecki, Berry, Stokes, Maschka, Johnson <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />DeBenedet, Goedeke <br /> <br />Staff Present: <br /> <br />Dahlgren, Keel, Jopke <br /> <br />Council Present: <br /> <br />Kehr (liaison), Cushman <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Berry stated that the minutes on page 5 should be corrected to <br />include a condition on the recommended approval of Minnesota <br />Solvents and Chemicals Corporation that soil tests be conducted <br />to determine if any soil contamination exists on the site prior <br />to asphalt being installed. <br /> <br />Berry moved and Stokes seconded to approve the minutes of the <br />July 5, 1989 Planning Commission meeting as corrected. <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Wietecki, <br />Johnson <br /> <br />Berry, <br /> <br />Stokes, Maschka, <br /> <br />Nays: <br />Planninq File 1984 <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Hicks Construction Company request for a special use permit and <br />variances for a convenience store with fuel sales and a car wash <br />at 1681 Rice Street. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Dahlgren summarized the location, the proposal, the variances <br />necessary and conditions which the Planning Commission might want <br />to consider. <br /> <br />Keel stated that the Public Works concerns previously outlined <br />have been addressed with the new proposal. <br />
