<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />Pagel 5 <br /> <br />Wednesday, May 2, 1990 <br /> <br />Johnson questioned about what will happen to all the extra <br />merchandise. <br /> <br />Wietecki stated that the applicant has claimed that he is <br />seeking storage to solve this problem. <br /> <br />Johnson stated that the Commission has to do what it thinks is <br />the best and review each application individually. <br /> <br />MOTION <br /> <br />stokes moved and DeBenedet seconded to approve the Special Use <br />Permit for the outside storage space with the limits that the <br />merchandise be left out only during regular business hours. <br /> <br />Goedeke questioned if there are any height regulations. <br /> <br />Johnson stated that the Planning commission must take each site <br />and define what should be done. <br /> <br />Goedeke questioned if it is both new and used merchandise. <br />Schwalbach stated that 30 percent of his stock is new and the <br />remaining is repair work. <br /> <br />DeBenedet withdrew his second to the motion. <br /> <br />Johnson questioned if there is any handicapped parking on the <br />site. Schwalbach stated that there is no handicapped parking on <br />the site. <br /> <br />DeBenedet moved and Goedeke seconded to table the discussion on <br />this application until the next meeting to allow ample time for <br />the applicant to work out more specific details of the outside <br />storage with the staff. DeBenedet stated that handicapped spaces <br />are required by state law and should be looked at in the review <br />of this application. <br /> <br />Berry stated that it appears that most applicants are not <br />considering handicapped accessibility. <br /> <br />Stokes stated that the applicant must work through the seven <br />items in the ordinance and talk to staff about handicapped <br />parking. Stokes questioned if we should give the applicant any <br />direction on height requirements for the storage items. <br />Schwalbach stated that the staff should work with them too and <br />notify them when they are over there taking pictures. <br />
