DeBenedet closed the public hearing. MOTION wietecki moved and Thomas seconded a motion to recommend approval of Everest Development Ltd. request for special use permit for office service uses at 2140 and 2210 County Road C based on plans submitted and that screening of rooftop utilities be screened by parapets as indicated by the applicant. Presentation Shardlow outlined the critical dimensions on plans developed by the applicant, and the problems associated with the site. He explained that Mr. Duffy was asking for some guidance from the Planning Commission on what changes may be acceptable and what modifications could be made to make the project work. DISCUSSIONS Items discussed included parking problems, the location and safety of the play area, the size of each particular unit and the possibility of reducing units, the need for maintaining green space on the property, the possible use of existing utilities on the site, and the possibility of moving the buildings closer to lot lines to gain the additional parking space required.
