<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />March 11, 1992 <br /> <br />Paget <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />sidewalks. <br /> <br />MOTION <br /> <br />wietecki moved and Thomas seconded a motion to recommend denial of <br />william Siever's request for special use permit for an automobile <br />service use and for site plan approval and setback variancesat 1526 <br />w. county Road B because the proposal is not consistent with the <br />intent of SC Shopping Center zoning district and comprehensive <br />plan, and will be detrimental to the health and safety of residents <br />because of congestion. <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Wietecki, Thomas, Roberts, Goedeke <br /> <br />Nayes: <br /> <br />stokes <br /> <br />Planning File 2181 <br /> <br />Amoco Pipeline Company request for a variance to the design <br />standards of the zoning ordinance at 2280 W. County Road C. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Shardlow highlighted the request. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />Items discussed included whether or not the proposed equipment wil1 <br />meet safety standards, and the fact that this is a unique case <br />because of the significant distance to adjacent uses and roadways. <br />Also discussed was the fact that the proposal would be considered <br />maintena~ce and not an expansion of a non-conforming use. <br /> <br />MOTION <br /> <br />Roberts moved and Wietecki seconded a motion to recommend approval <br />of Amoco Pipeline Company's request for a variance to the design <br />standards of the zoning ordinance at 2280 W.
