<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />April 8, 1992 <br /> <br />Pagel <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Shardlow highlighted the history of the issue and the proposed <br />variance request. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Issues discussed included whether an interim use permit or a <br />variance should be considered, lease term, access easement, and the <br />size of the proposed sign. <br /> <br />MOTION <br /> <br />wietecki moved and Roberts seconded a motion to recommend approval <br />of Donald V. Roberts request for a variance to the zoning ordinance <br />at 2210 Terminal Road with the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. That the sign be moved at no cost to the city if the right-of- <br />way is needed for a public purpose in the future. <br /> <br />2. Larpenteur Avenue. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Shardlow highlighted the background, comprehensive plan <br />designation, zoning designation, density requirements, and the <br />issues that were brought up at the previous Planning Commission <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Keel presented information on storm water quality, wetland <br />protection issues, and comparison of the impact of different land <br />uses concerning suspended solids. <br /> <br />Ron Ridell highlighted the current proposal which involved the <br />reduction of total units from 30 to 28, provision of additional <br />play area, how they are addressing the DNR issues, how snow storage <br />would be handled, how far the project is setback from the wetland, <br />how they have an upgraded product, how parking is being provided, <br />and how the pond will be maintained by the homeowner's association. <br />Ron Ridell also indicated a willingness to work with staff to <br />rQoo1~c 1andQoapi~~ ico~~c. <br />
