Chairman
Wietecki stated that of the three Shardlow recommendations that are noted within
the minutes of March 9th, the Commission took option 2 which read: ". . . if the
Commission is supportive of the Kehr project but has hesitations regarding adjacent
properties, a design should be done for all of the properties in the area before
approvals are made."

MOTION: Member Wietecki moved, second by Member Rengel, to correct
the motion on page 7 of the March 9, 1994, Planning Commission Minutes
to read as follows: "The Planning Commission recommended to delay a
decision on the change to the Comprehensive Plan from low density to
medium density for the properties at 674, 656, and 646 County Road C, until
a Comprehensive Plan Hearing had been held for the entire area
encompassed by the Legion property on the west, Central Park on the south,
Dale Street on the east, and County Road C on the north.

Member Wall expressed concern with the change in the motion and the
discussion before and after the motion. He expressed concern with the
properties that surround the site and the premature nature of the proposal.
He also expressed concern about the need to resolve the issues surrounding
the site, but he supports the revised motion.

Roll Call: Ayes:

Sandstrom, Rengel, Thomas, Wall, Wietecki

Nayes:

None.

Abstained: Roberts, Harms

Approval of the Minutes of April 13, 1994.

Chairman Wietecki reminded the Planning Commission of the actions and the
informal recommendations it had made at the May 4, 1994, Study Meeting

2
