<br />City of RoseviUe Planning Commission Minutes <br />May 11, 1994 <br /> <br />Member Sandstrom stated that the purpose of the original motion was to change the <br />density and to include all property to the east of the AI Kehr project in the <br />comprehensive plan redesignation from low density to medium density. Chairman <br />Wietecki stated that of the three Shardlow recommendations that are noted within <br />the minutes of March 9th, the Commission took option 2 which read: ". . . if the <br />Commission is supportive of the Kehr project but has hesitations regarding adjacent <br />properties, a design should be done for all of the properties in the area before <br />approvals are made." <br /> <br />MOTION: Member Wietecki moved, second by Member Rengel, to correct <br />the motion on page 7 of the March 9, 1994, Planning Commission Minutes <br />to read as follows: "The Planning Commission recommended to delay a <br />decision on the change to the Comprehensive Plan from low density to <br />medium density for the properties at 674, 656, and 646 County Road C, until <br />a Comprehensive Plan Hearing had been held for the entire area <br />encompassed by the Legion property on the west, Central Park on the south, <br />Dale Street on the east, and County Road C on the north. <br /> <br />Member Wall expressed concern with the change in the motion and the <br />discussion before and after the motion. He expressed concern with the <br />properties that surround the site and the premature nature of the proposal. <br />He also expressed concern about the need to resolve the issues surrounding <br />the site, but he supports the revised motion. <br /> <br />Roll Call: Ayes: <br /> <br />Sandstrom, Rengel, Thomas, Wall, Wietecki <br /> <br />Nayes: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Abstained: Roberts, Harms <br /> <br />Approval of the Minutes of April 13, 1994. <br /> <br />Chairman Wietecki reminded the Planning Commission of the actions and the <br />informal recommendations it had made at the May 4, 1994, Study Meeting <br /> <br />2 <br />
