Planning Commission Minutes June 12, 1996 WHEREAS, the proposed church site is partially zoned R-I Single Family residential and partially zoned B-1 Limited Business; and WHEREAS, the proposed church structure will be located on the portion of the site designated as Low Density Residential and zoned R-l Single Family Residential; and WHEREAS, church uses are compatible with the low density residential designation and the R-l Single Family Residential zoning; and WHEREAS, the portion of the site designated for business use and zoned B-1 Limited Business will be used for accessory parking purposes; and WHEREAS, accessory parking is compatible with the business designation and B-1 Limited Business zoning; and WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission recommended approval of a finding, after a public hearing on June 12, 1996, that the proposed use would be compatible with the current Comprehensive Plan designation and zoning and would not require a conditional use permit; and WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council conducted a public hearing on this matter on June 25, 1996. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council") ofthe City ofRoseville, Minnesota (the "City"), Ramsey County, Minnesota, that a Comprehensive Plan amendment and conditional use permit are not required concerning the Dennis Batty/Roseville Covenant Church request for City approvals at 2865 Hamline Avenue North. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council member and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: and the following voted against the same: None. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
