<br />Planning Commission Meeting Minutes <br />August 14, 1996 <br /> <br />The consensus of the Planning Commission was to support Design #2, a 31 unit housing <br />project. <br /> <br />There was no further comment. <br /> <br />Joint Hearing for Ordinance Text i\mendments to City Code <br /> <br />Chairman Keith Wietecki suggested to the Planning Commission that on the agenda, a <br />number of amendment hearings to the City Code relating to procedures and setbacks were <br />scheduled that could be described in one joint public hearing. He asked the Commission <br />if they would concur with this approach. The Commission concurred. <br /> <br />Chairman Wietecki opened the joint public hearing for the following items and requested <br />Dennis Welsch to provide the background report: <br /> <br />6(c) Planning File 2849: An ordinance amending City Code Sections 1004.01,3a-c <br />(Surface of Parking) and Sections 703.03 and 703.04 (Driveway and Parking <br />Requirements) . <br /> <br />6(d) Planning File 2850: An ordinance amending Section 1010.15 to assure that <br />professional landscape plans are prepared for new or renovated buildings by a <br />landscape architect licensed to practice in the State of Minnesota. <br /> <br />6(e) Planning File 2851: An ordinance amending Section 1007, A-H (General <br />Requirements for Industrial Districts) to add setback and screening requirements <br />for passenger vehicle parking in Industrial Districts and building requirements. <br /> <br />6(f) Planning File 2852: An ordinance amending Section 1013 clarifying procedure <br />and timing for conditional use permits and variances. <br /> <br />6(g) Planning File 2852: An ordinance amending Section 1008, regarding timing and <br />procedure to establish a Planned Unit Development. <br /> <br />6(h) Planning File 2853: An ordinance amending Section 1102.01 changing <br />notification distance for subdivision to three hundred fifty (350') feet and the <br />review period by the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Dennis Welsch provided an individual review of each ordinance and requested comment <br />from the Planning Commission.
