Rick Jopke stated that
office and office/garden showroom were proposed. Current changes include
adding 100,000 square feet net new space and adding business hotels and
restaurants.
Kent Carlson, Ryan Companies, stated the project will be market driven, mostly
buildings of three (3) stories or less. There probably will not be a lot of changes.
K. Wietecki asked if any of the buildings are already spoken for (at least one(1))
and will there be more than two (2) hotels and two (2) restaurants (none are
planned). The basic mix of buildings will remain.
K. Harms asked when the build-out is planned (36-48 months).
K. Wietecki asked what the design theme will be.
Kent Carlson stated there will be a theme throughout the Business Park,
providing consistent materials and proportions to the original buildings.
K. Wietecki asked the developer to break up the parking lots with planting
islands. This should be a finished look.
K. Wietecki asked what changes may occur with storm water ponds. Kent
Carlson stated not much change will occur. Rice Creek has been involved in the
review.
Comments from the Public. None.
K. Wietecki summarized: The final plan should not skimp on landscaping. The
asphalt should be softened. This is a good land use for Roseville. The hotels
and restaurants are the only new items.
K. Harms asked Kent Carlson to get input from neighborhood.
7(B)Report on Centre Pointe EAW Petition by Elwyn Sands:
Dennis Welsch reported on the City Council actions of February 10, 1997, to
decline to prepare an additional EAW for Centre Pointe or Twin Lakes areas.
7(C)Comments Solicited for Centre Pointe EAW:
Dennis Welsch reported that the EAW for Centre Pointe was distributed on
January 27, 1997 and the public comment period extends through February.
2
