On a roll call: <br />Ayes: 4, Mulder, Cunningham, Rhody, Harms <br />Nays: 3, Wilke, Olson, Klausing <br />The motion passed 4-3. <br />Chair Harms rearranged the agenda to take item 7a, PF3077 (John <br />Olson), after the conclusion of items 6b, PF3022 (Twin Lakes Parkway). <br />6b.Planning File 3022. <br /> The City of Roseville is proposing to officially <br />map the Twin Lakes Parkway right-of-way between Fairview Avenue <br />North and Cleveland Avenue North. <br />Chair Harms opened the hearing. Dennis Welsch presented a summary of <br />the staff report. <br />A letter from Regor, Inc., 1947 W. Co. Rd C, dated October 13, 1998, <br />opposing the alignment because of loss of land on the Regor site was <br />added to the file and to the minutes. <br />Aldon Pearson appeared on behalf of Mr. Gene Pikovsky. He reviewed <br />the industrial goals of the Comprehensive Plan, page IND-3. He noted <br />PIK has three tenants who will use the site for up to five years. He <br />reviewed the interim proposal and asked how long it would take to <br />become the final plan or improvement. Mr. Pearson asked if the interim <br />proposal were installed, an entry would need to be constructed between <br />the office building and the safety building. <br />Mr. Pearson stated the PIK owners are concerned about the timing and <br />pricing of the property. He displayed a letter from (October 14,1998) by <br />Dennis Welsch which states an interim plan also be adopted and <br />recommended to the City Council. <br />Aldon Pearson noted PIK was interested in the date when the final and <br />interim plan alignment would be put into place. (Construction is <br />scheduled for year 2001 or later). <br />Karl Keel stated the city would hold hearings before the roadway was <br />constructed. Access would be determined at that time. <br />There was no further public comments or questions. <br />Chair Harms closed the hearing. <br />8 <br />
