<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was held in the City Hall <br />in said city on Monday, November 23, 1992, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: P. Johnson, Cushman, Thomas, <br />Maschka, and V. Johnson and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember V. Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8867 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF <br />IMPROVEMENT ST-92-27 THEREFORE UNDER <br />AND PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES, CHAPTER 429 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council of the City of Roseville <br />adopted October 26, 1992, fixed a date for a public hearing on Project <br />ST-92-27; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice was given; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, that in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, <br />Chapter 429, as amended, the Council held a public hearing on November <br />23, 1992, to consider the proposed construction of Improvement ST-92-27 <br />consisting of the installation of storm sewer pipes and associated <br />appurtenances in the area between Wewers Road and a point 240 feet more <br />or less south of the centerline of County Road C and lying between Rice <br />Street and the north south centerline leg of Wewers Road as described in <br />the Notice of Hearing at a cost presently estimated at $44,300.00 and <br />substantially in accordance with the preliminary report as to the <br />feasibility thereof which is now on file in the office of the City <br />Manager; at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an <br />opportunity to be heard thereon, and having considered the views of all <br />interested persons, the Council does hereby determine and order that <br />said improvement shall be constructed and financed for Alternate 1 only, <br />as described in the feasibility report dated October 26, 1992. <br /> <br />The City Public Works Director is designated as the Engineer for the <br />project and is directed to prepare and submit to the Council the final <br />plans and specifications for the improvement. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember P. Johnson and upon roll call vote being taken thereon, <br />the following voted in favor thereof: P. Johnson, Cushman, Thomas, <br />Maschka, and V. Johnson and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
