<br />Member Olson said she was concerned about percent of rear yard coverage of the site and the size of the building. <br /> <br />Member Klausing stated he was opposed to the request because it would be a rare case to grant a CUP. He said <br />he felt it was not compatible with adjoining properties and the garage was 83% of the size of the house. He <br />questioned the impact this building may have on adjoining properties. The applicants could construct up to 864 s.f. <br />without a conditional use permit. <br /> <br />Member Cunningham asked about drainage to the southeast. The building will not be wider than other two-car <br />garages as seen from the street. He supported the proposal. The Commission acknowledged there were other <br />large accessory buildings/garages in the neighborhood. <br /> <br />Motion carried 4-2. <br /> <br />Ayes: Cunningham, Wilke, Mulder, Rhody <br /> <br />Nays: Klausing, Olson <br /> <br />7.
