<br />Motion 2: Member Wilke moved, seconded by Member Cunningham, to request the Council to extend the review period <br />for 60 days. <br /> <br />Ayes: Olson, Cunningham, Wilke, Klausing, Mulder, Rhody <br /> <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />Motion Carried 6-0. <br /> <br />Chair Harms re-entered the meeting. <br /> <br />6c. Planning File 3092. Ric Cox request for vacation of a portion of County Road D in connection with the proposed <br />redevelopment of the parcel at the southeast corner of Fairview and County Road d (3116 Fairview Ave. North) to allow a <br />small office building. <br /> <br />Chair Harms opened the hearing and requested City Planner Thomas Paschke to summarize a staff report dated March <br />10, 1999. He noted City policy and recommended approval of the vacation. <br /> <br />Thomas Paschke noted a letter received from Dave Seaberg regarding additional vacations. <br /> <br />Mr. Ric Cox commented that the vacation should extend to the east at a future time. <br /> <br />No comment from the public. <br /> <br />Chair Harms closed the hearing. <br /> <br />Motion: Member Rhody moved, seconded by Member Mulder to recommend approval of the request for vacation of a <br />portion of County road D, approximately 7-1/2 feet wide by 155.99 feet in length, directly east of Fairview Avenue adjacent <br />to property located at 3116 Fairview Avenue North, based on the findings outlined in Section 3.1 of the Request for <br />Planning Commission Action dated March 10, 1999. <br /> <br />Ayes: Olson, Cunningham, Wilke, Klausing, Mulder, Rhody, Harms <br /> <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />Motion Carried 7-0. <br /> <br />Mr. Cox explained the landscape plan for his project. He explained the request for landscaping in lieu of fencing on the <br />south side. There will be no overhead lighting in the parking lot (bollards). <br /> <br />6d. Planning File 3098. Roseville Chrysler Auto Body Shop, request for a conditional use permit to store inoperable <br />vehicles awaiting repair within an enclosed structure and for a motor vehicle dealership on property located at 2945 <br />Partridge Road. <br /> <br />Chair Harms opened the hearing and requested Thomas Paschke to provide a summary of the staff report dated March <br />10, 1999. <br /> <br />Chair Harms noted that this change will be a major improvement. <br /> <br />Mike Klein, Architect, explained the need for added space. He asked the Planning Commission to provide additional time <br />to comply with the requirements of the code. The applicant states he has a conditional use permit on the existing car <br />dealership site to store new vehicles. The number of repairable vehicles on the site should not exceed ten. <br /> <br />Chair Harms closed the hearing. <br /> <br />Chair Harms asked for detail on timing for improvements to bring the project into compliance. <br /> <br />Member Rhody stated he would not recommend approval without screening of vehicles. <br /> <br />Member Olson asked for clarification of project fencing. Chair Harms requested clarification of the request and use within <br />
