<br />City of Roseville <br /> <br />Planning Commission Minutes <br /> <br />Special Meeting <br /> <br />Wednesday, April 26, 2000 <br /> <br />1. Call to Order <br /> <br />Acting Chair John Rhody called the April 26, 2000 special meeting of the City of Roseville Planning Commission to order <br />at 6:35 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of the City Hall. <br /> <br />2. Roll Call and Introduction <br /> <br />Present: Ed Cunningham, Doug Wilke, Peggy Egli, James Mulder, John Rhody <br /> <br />Absent: Chair Craig Klausing, Janet Olson <br /> <br />Staff present: Thomas Paschke, Dennis Welsch <br /> <br />Council: Council Member Barb Mastel <br /> <br />3. Continued Public Hearing <br /> <br />Ga. Planning File 3199: Kraus-Anderson realty is requesting CONCEPT PUD approval to rezone the property <br />encompassing Hamline Center from SC, Shopping Center District to B-PUD, Business Planned Unit Development to allow <br />uses such as schools, churches, lawful gambling, retail and office, within the existing structure. Hamline Center is located <br />at 2797 - 2833 Hamline Avenue. <br /> <br />Acting Chair Rhody opened the continued hearing and requested City Planner Thomas Paschke to provide a summary of <br />the project progress to date. Mr. Paschke explained that the proposal has been withdrawn by the applicant and no further <br />action is necessary. A letter from Charter School representative, Carol Koski, was submitted stating that the school was <br />withdrawing. A letter requesting a withdrawal was submitted by Kraus-Anderson. He recommended the Commission <br />formally accept the withdrawal. <br /> <br />There being no further comment, Chair Rhody closed the hearing. <br /> <br />Motion. Member Mulder moved, Member Wilke seconded, to accept a letter from Kraus-Anderson, withdrawing their <br />request for a B-PUD. <br /> <br />Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />4. Adjournment <br /> <br />Motion. Member Mulder moved, Member Wilke seconded, to adjourn the meeting at 6:38 p.m. <br /> <br />Return to Planning Commission <br />
