Call to Order <br /> <br />Chair John Rhody called the regular meeting of the City of Roseville Planning Commission to order at 6:35 p.m. in the City <br />Council Chambers <br /> <br />2. Roll Call and Introduction <br /> <br />Chair John Rhody introduced new Commission member Troy Duncan. <br /> <br />Present: Chair John Rhody, Janet Olson, Troy Duncan, Ed Cunningham, Jim Mulder <br /> <br />Absent: Doug Wilke <br /> <br />Staff present: Thomas Paschke, Deb Bloom, Dennis Welsch <br /> <br />Council present: Barb Mastel <br /> <br />3. Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Motion: Member Cunningham moved, seconded by Member Olson to approve the minutes of the January 10, 2001 <br />meeting of the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Ayes: Cunningham, Olson, Rhody <br /> <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />Abstain: Duncan, Mulder <br /> <br />Carried: 3-0-2 <br /> <br />4. Communications from the Public <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />5. Consent Agenda <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />6. Public Hearings <br />a. Planning File 3285: A request by the Minnesota Department of Transportation to vacate a portion of County Road <br />B-2 right-of-way. Said portion of right-of-way to be vacated lies adjacent property located at 1500 County Road B-2. <br /> <br />Chairman John Rhody opened the public hearing and requested city planner Thomas Paschke to provide a verbal <br />summary of the project report dated February 14, 2001. <br /> <br />Thomas Paschke explained the history of County Road B-2 from 1969 through 2000. He illustrated the portions of <br />the frontage at MnDOT's lot to be vacated. <br /> <br />The vacation would reduce parking and building setback non-conformities. Staff recommended approval of the <br />
