Report on Roseville Transportation Planning Issues (Deb Bloom) <br /> <br />Deb Bloom, City Engineer, presented an introduction to traffic planning. <br />See attached Exhibit A <br /> <br />Ms. Bloom also described the need for a new Roseville traffic model. Member Traynor asked for more detail on the <br />benefits of traffic models and forecasting. Ms. Bloom will give staff copies of presentation materials for distribution to the <br />Commission. <br /> <br />7. Information & Reports: <br /> <br />a. Progress on 2005 Work Plan - reports from representatives. <br /> <br />Update for next meeting. <br /> <br />Chair Mulder suggested the Planning Commission consider a study and changes to the regulations regarding impervious <br />surfaces (30% vs 35%), and the footprint of the garage vs the home. <br /> <br />b. Review of Interim Use Permits as of January 2005 (from handout at meeting. <br /> <br />Dennis Welsch explained that a number of Interim Use Permits (IUPs) are currently permitted in the community within <br />specific time limits. The IUPs that end in 2005 and 2006 were highlighted. <br /> <br />c. Home and Garden Fair. <br /> <br />Dennis Welsch summarized the Home and Garden Fair being held February 26th, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at Fairview <br />Community Center. <br /> <br />d. The New 2005 Zoning Map Atlas was distributed to the Commission. <br /> <br />8.
