<br />Roseville Public Works and Transportation Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />Thursday, November 21, 2002, at 7:00 p.m. <br />City Council Chambers, 2660 Civic Center Drive <br />Roseville, Minnesota 55113 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1.Introductions/Roll Call <br /> <br /> Commission members present: Todd Anderson, Mihai Marasteanu, <br />Joseph Rossini, Ernest Willenbring, Doug Wilke <br /> <br /> Staff present: Duane Schwartz, Public Works Director <br /> <br /> <br />2.Public Comments <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br />3.Approval of October meeting minutes <br /> <br /> Member Anderson moved to approve the minutes of October 24, 2002, of <br />the Public Works/Transportation Commission. Member Rossini <br />seconded. <br /> <br /> Ayes: 5 <br /> Nays: 0 <br /> Motion carried <br /> <br /> <br />4.Communication Items <br /> <br /> <br />A)Leaf Program – The program is 99% complete right now. Staff <br />would have finished on time if the leaves had fallen earlier. Return <br />trips have been made to clean up additional leaves. Participation <br />was down slightly this year, approximately 2100 users. A hearing is <br />scheduled for December to discuss the future of the leaf program, <br />and costs should be tallied at that point for the 2002 program. <br /> <br />B)Referendum Update – The referendum passed, and staff is looking <br />forward to getting started on the project. The City Council has <br />authorized contracting with Ankeny Kell, the original architect, to <br />develop working plans. <br />Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br />
