Communication Items

Item out of order

Member Wilke updated the Commission on the Twin Lakes Stakeholders
Commission. Several weeks ago they took a bus tour to look at quite a
few different development sites, starting with the Arbor Lakes area in
Maple Grove. They went on to different areas that were developed mixing
retail and residential properties.

At the last meeting, they talked about their tour and what they thought of
the different sites.

Member Anderson asked if there were any major traffic concerns brought
up at the initial meeting. Member Rossini had attended that meeting and
said there were some concerns about the new road and how much private
property will be used for it.

Member Anderson had some comments on Clean-up Day. He had
dropped his own things off late in the day and thought it was very
organized and well run. He commends Tim Pratt and other organizers and
contracts for doing such a good job.

The spring clean-up is also continuing. Schwartz said that it is going well
and many people have volunteered.

6. Public Works Commission Brochure

Member Wilke had previously asked that staff prepare a brochure on the
Commission. Schwartz presented a rough draft of that brochure. Member
Wilke suggested that a list of topics be added. All thought some pictures
would be a good addition.

7.
