<br />I. Proposal One - Every Other Week Collection of Two-Sort Material <br />A. The City of Roseville is currently divided into five Recycling Collection <br />Districts according to Exhibit A. Curbside collection for single-family <br />households, duplexes, triplexes, fourplexes, and townhomes, totaling <br />approximately 9,303 residential dwelling units (RDU's) shall occur every <br />other week on the day of the week designated in Exhibit A beginning with <br />the week of January 6,2003. A 2-sort collection of co-mingled containers <br />and co-mingled fibers using vehicles with separated chambers for each <br />category (containers and fibers) is required. Contractor will also provide <br />weekly recycling service as described above to City Hall; the Skating <br />Center; the Public Works Maintenance Facility; the License Center; Fire <br />Stations One, Two and Three; the Harriet Alexander Nature Center and other <br />mutually agreed upon City facilities. This proposal will also include a pilot <br />program of single-stream collection described herein that will start no earlier <br />that January 1, 2004 and end no later than March 31, 2005. <br /> <br />$ <br /> <br />per RDD per month <br /> <br />B. Collection from all City-certified Multi-Unit Dwellings (MUD) shall occur <br />each week on the designated collection day. The City has identified 6,786 <br />multi-unit dwellings, defined as units in 5 or more unit building(s) and <br />mobile home parks. Contractor will provide weekly collection service for <br />co-mingled containers and co-mingled fibers and multi-unit carts to facilitate <br />that service. <br /> <br />$ <br /> <br />per MDD per month <br /> <br />C. <br /> <br />The following information shall accompany the proposal: <br /> <br />List of Principal Officers' names, addresses and contact numbers <br />(telephone, e-mail, fax) <br />Location of terminal for recycling vehicles used in Roseville <br />Number of recycling vehicles to be used for Roseville collection <br />Photo(s) and description of collection equipment vehicles including, <br />but not limited to, make and collection function <br />Description of collection process <br />List of Twin Cities communities where contractor currently collects <br />recyclables curbside and name and phone number of City contact <br />person <br />Contractor's experience in collecting recyclables and where <br />applicable experience in processing, and marketing of recyclables <br /> <br />4 <br />
