<br />Roseville Public Works and Transportation Commission <br /> <br />Agenda Item <br /> <br />Date: December 21, 2002 <br /> <br />Item No: 6 <br /> <br />Item Description: Clean-up Day Discussion <br /> <br />The Residential and Solid Waste and Recycling Citizen Advisory Committee report dated May, <br />2002, recommended the City establish an annual clean-up day. The last time the City held this <br />type of clean-up day for residents was in the early 1990's. Staff included $11,000 in the 2003 <br />budget proposal for this item. The 2003 budget was approved on December 16, 2002. <br /> <br />Attached are a copy of the clean-up day section of the report and a draft request for proposals for <br />your review. Tim Pratt will be in attendance to discuss this item and to review three potential <br />sites for this event with the commission. Staff is seeking input from the commission before <br />proceeding with the planning of this event. <br /> <br />Recommended Action: <br /> <br />Motion recommending a preferred date and site for this event, as well as any major additions to <br />the request-for-proposal document. <br /> <br />Move: <br /> <br />Second: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Nays: <br />
