<br />Roseville Public Works and Transportation Commission <br /> <br />Agenda Item <br /> <br />Date: December 19, 2002 <br /> <br />Item No: 5 <br /> <br />Item Description: Storm Water Management Plan Presentation <br /> <br />Metro area cities are required to have a comprehensive surface water management plan as a part <br />of their overall comprehensive plan. Roseville's first storm water management plan was drafted <br />in 1989-1990. Every 10 years cities must update or redraft their stOlID water management plan, <br />including necessary changes and updates. <br /> <br />Storm water management has changed since 1990 in that requirements have increased due to <br />changes in legislation, as well as water management organization requirement changes. <br /> <br />The City accepted proposals this past summer from consultant firms interested in updating our <br />plan. Bonestroo and Associates was selected to perform this work. A representative from <br />Bonestroo will be making a presentation at the commission meeting detailing the proposed <br />content of the new plan. Attached is a draft outline of the content. We will also share with the <br />commission the s,chedule and steps remaining in completing this plan. <br /> <br />Recommended Action: <br /> <br />Comment on the content of the surface water management plan and suggestions for additional <br />information to be included would be appropriate at this time.
