<br />Roseville Public Works and Transportation Commission <br /> <br />Agenda Item <br /> <br />Date: May 22, 2003 <br /> <br />Item No: 5 <br /> <br />Item Description: Budget Presentation <br /> <br />The State Legislature is nearing completion of this year's business. It appears at this time that <br />there will be a significant cut in aid to the City of Roseville. City staff and the Council have <br />begun discussion regarding the 2004 budget and impacts due to the proposed cut in state aid. <br /> <br />Staff would like to review with the Commission areas of the City budget relating to Public <br />Works and Transportation. We are seeking direction on areas of new initiative or areas we may <br />consider in looking for reductions in overall budget. Attached are summary pages of the 2003 <br />City budget book relating to Public Works. Staff will be prepared to detail programs and <br />services contained in each of these budget areas. <br /> <br />Recommended Action: <br /> <br />Commission direction or concems for the 2004 budget process. <br />
