I Quorum 2 3 A majority of the total members duly appointed by the City Council to the City Planning 4 Commission shall constitute a quorum. A quorum shall be present for the transaction of any 5 official vote or action by the Commission. In the event of a lack of a quorum at any regular 6 meeting or duly called meeting of the Planning Commission, the members present may meet as a 7 Planning Commission Committee or Hearing Panel and record the meeting. However, no 8 official action may be taken until a quorum is present. 9 10 Meetinl! Schedules II 12 The Planning Commission shall hold regular meetings at the Roseville City Hall on the 13 first Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. When a regular meeting is not to be held on the 14 first Wednesday of the month due to a holiday, lack of business, or anticipated absence of 15 members for similar reasons, the Chair shall select an alternate date and direct the City Staff to 16 notify each member at least five (5) days prior to the meeting or when there is a change from the 17 regular schedule. The Planning Commission shall hold at least one (1) regular meeting each 18 month as required by City Code Chapter 20 I. The Commission may cancel meetings for lack of 19 business. The Chair may call special meetings as deemed necessary. 20 21 In the event of a change in time or place from the regular meeting time or place, or a 22 special meeting, City Staff shall post written notice on the bulletin board at City Hall at least 23 three days prior to the meeting. This notice shall include the date, time, place and purpose of the 24 meeting and will be mailed or delivered to any person who has filed a written request for notice. 25 26 For any meeting that is continued until a later date, no further legal notice is necessary if 27 the time and place was determined, announced at the meeting, and recorded in the minutes at the 28 time of the continuance. 29 30 Official actions of the Planning Commission shall only occur at the City Hall or other 31 public meeting places within the corporate limits of the City of Roseville. Special meetings may 32 be held outside the City as deemed appropriate, such as tours; however, there shall be no official 33 actions at these meetings. 34 35 Absences 36 37 A member who misses six or more regularly scheduled meetings (except study meetings) 38 in a calendar year shall be reported by the Chair to the City Council. 39 40 41 42 3
