Introductions/Roll Call <br /> <br />Commission members present: Joe Rossini, Ernest Willenbring, and <br />Doug Wilke. <br /> <br />Commission members absent: Mihai Marasteanu and Todd Anderson <br /> <br />Staff present: Duane Schwartz, Public Works Director; Deb Bloom, City <br />Engineer/Assistant Public Works Director; Dennis Welsch, Commnnity <br />Development Director <br /> <br />Others present: Michael Noonan, Rottlund Homes; Joe Samuel, RLK <br />Associates <br /> <br />2. Approval of July meeting minutes <br /> <br />Member Rossini moved to approve the minutes of July 27,2004, ofthe <br />Public Works/Transportation Commission. Member Willenbring <br />seconded. <br /> <br />Ayes: 3 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Motion canied <br /> <br />4. Communications Items <br /> <br />Duane Schwartz handed out infornlation on traffic funding for <br />transportation. There have been some articles lately in the paper regarding <br />the Itasca Project, which is a group of Twin Cities business leaders <br />concerned with transportation funding and met and created <br />recommendations that they sent to the governor and legislature. <br /> <br />Page 1 of5 <br />
