<br />Roseville Public Works, Environment and <br />Transportation Commission <br /> <br />Agenda Item <br /> <br />Date: September 27,2005 <br /> <br />Item No: 5 <br /> <br />Item Description: Hearing on Additional Transit Shelter Sites <br /> <br />Transtop has constructed a number of the 20 transit shelters proposed for Roseville. They have <br />also run into obstacles at some of the approved sites for various reasons. Some were affected by <br />bus route changes or elimination, some by electrical availability, and others due to difficulty of <br />obtaining easements from adjacent property owners. <br /> <br />They have requested that two additional sites be considered for shelters. One is adjacent to the <br />new Perkins Restaurant on County Road B and the other is at the southwest comer of County <br />Road B-2 and Cleveland A venue. Staff has sent notices to property owners adjacent to these <br />sites notifying them of a hearing at your Commission meeting. <br /> <br />A representative from Transtop will be in attendance to update you on their progress and need <br />for these two sites. <br /> <br />Recommended Action: <br /> <br />Motion to approve shelter sites on County Road B at Perkins Restaurant and the southwest <br />comer of County Road B-2 and Cleveland Avenue. <br />
