Introductions/Roll Call <br /> <br />Commission members present: Dan Shiely, Randy Neprash, Joel Fischer, <br />Ernie Willenbring and Doug Wilke <br /> <br />Commission members absent: none <br /> <br />Staff present: Duane Schwartz, Public Works Director <br /> <br />Others present: none <br /> <br />2. Public Comments <br /> <br />Chair Wilke asked for any public comments. Member Shiely objected and <br />said there were parliamentary procedures that needed to be followed. <br />Chair Wilke said they had an agenda to follow. Member Shiely said he <br />wanted to file an objection. <br /> <br />Douglas Root, 2468 North Hamline Avenue: He started by <br />complimenting the maintenance of roads in Roseville. He then voiced his <br />concerns about the county and state roads going through Roseville, that <br />they haven't been updated or maintained as well as they should be. He <br />then asked the Commission if they would be interested in notifYing the <br />county and state of problems and asking for more action. He said he <br />would be willing to write a first draft to get things started and possibly <br />have a discussion at a future meeting. <br /> <br />Member Shiely asked repeatedly how his objection was going to be <br />handled. <br /> <br />Chris and Chris Hughes, 1779 Rose Place: <br /> <br />Chair Wilke stated the City Attorney advised that any comments or <br />actions by Commission members on the following item were their own <br /> <br />Page 1 of6 <br />
