<br />exceeding one year upon fmding that circumstances beyond the control of the <br />permittee have prevented action from being taken. <br /> <br />8. MODIFICATIONS. The permittee shall not modify the approved activity or <br />plans and specifications on file with the District without the prior approval of <br />the Board. <br /> <br />9. INSPECTION AND MONITORING. After issuance of a permit, the District <br />may perform such field inspections and monitoring of the approved activity as the <br />District deems necessary to determine compliance with the conditions of the <br />permit and these Rules. Any portion of the activity not in compliance shall be <br />promptly corrected. In applying for a permit, the applicant consents to entry upon <br />the land for field inspections and monitoring, or for performing any work <br />necessary to bring the activity into compliance. <br /> <br />10. SUSPENSION OR REVOCATION. The Di 'ct may suspend or revoke a <br />permit issued under these Rules wherever th rmit is issued in error or on the <br />basis of incorrect information supplied, or . 1 ion of any provision of these <br />Rules, or if the preliminary and final sub ision a val received from a <br />municipality or county is not consiste e conditions of the permit. <br /> <br />11. If the District <br />fails to make a determination as to compliance of an activity with the conditions <br />of the permit within 60 days after submittal of the foregoing information verifying <br />completion, the activity shall be deemed complete and any surety shall thereupon <br />be released. <br /> <br /> <br />12. PERMIT TRANSFERS. No permit shall be transferred if there are any unpaid <br />fees or other outstanding permit violations. Transfer of a permit does not alter the <br />requirements of the permit or extend the permit term. In the event that a permit is <br />transferred, the original permittee shall remain liable for the permit requirements <br />unless (I) the transferee and transferor submit a Permit Transfer Form to the <br />District or (2) the District approves a new permit for the transferor. <br /> <br />13.
