<br />(d) Minimize connectivity of impervious surfaces to the stormwater system. <br /> <br />(e) Require the use of effective non-point source pollution reduction BMPs in <br />development projects. <br /> <br />(f) Protect and maintain downstream drainage systems to provide permanent and <br />safe conveyance of stormwater. Reduce the frequency and/or duration of <br />potential downstream flooding. <br /> <br />(g) Reduce the total volume of stormwater runoff to protect surface water quality <br />and provide recharge to groundwater. <br /> <br />(h) Remove sediment, pollutants, and nutrients from stormwater to protect surface <br />water quality. <br /> <br />2. REGULATION.
